The light

At times I couldn't sleep at night.

For I was missing the light.

The light in my life that should give me hope.

Instead it always felt like I was going up a slope.

All my life I wanted to get away.
Now you got me to stay.

Because I found my love in you.

Believe me, that’s true.

But my issue will still be there.

The sadness I am feeling is everywhere.

I fight against demons inside my head.

Than I remember what you said.

“Move forward and don’t look back.

Soon your memories forms to just a little crack.

Think of all the goodness around you.

Then you will see happiness too.”
